4.3. Journey to Le Havre

 Our trip to Frances Le Havre started on 4.3. at 3.45 am finnish time with getting ourselves to the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. From there our flight to Paris left at 7.35 am finnish time, and we were in Paris at 9.45 french time. From there we started our train/metro shenanigans, including being lost a lot, asking help from complete strangers with broken english/french, cursing out the ticket automats, and running between the many trains we had to take. At last we found ourselves in Le Havre a bit after 16.00. From there we tried to find ourselves a way to the apartment, but most routes that google recommended were blocked by road construction or just didn't exist. We managed to find a long but easy route to the apartment, and managed to get here before dinner time, for which we had some pork-soup. Overall the first day was a bit chaotic, but we managed to pull through it pretty well.

Le Havre 5.-12.3.

Weekends have been effectively spent scouring the city for all it's attractions, including quite a few sculptures, a park, a church, the shores of atlantic ocean, and pidgeons. Work has been quite difficult compared to Finland, mainly because of the limited communication options, but the culture and way of doing things are quite a bit different aswell. Still, things have progressed, and I've been able to do many things, like cut my finger, burn my finger, cut my finger again, and get sick. Maybe some actual food stuff aswell.

Le Havre and trip back home 20.-26.3.

Regarding work, the last week was very similiar to the first 2 weeks, just with more speed. Free time was spent cleaning, packing our stuff, and doing the last tours around the town. On sunday, after spending 3 weeks in Frances Le Havre, we went back home. Just as last time, travelling was quite stressful and chaotic, maybe even a bit more so than 3 weeks earlier. We still managed to do it, and even managed to catch a glimpse of Paris.

Le Havre 13.-19.3

This week was a bit more "boring" than the last one, but interesting nontheless. Work was same as last week with some more new ingredients, such as snails, big french shrimps, and little coloured buns. Biggest difference was honestly that instead of getting fever on thursday, my ankle decided to throw a fit on thursday. So I went to see the local hospital, luckily nothing had broken too badly, and all that is required is a bit of the french painkillers, which are quite strong compared to finnish ones. We also tried out some vr-glasses at a local establishment on wednesday.
